The modern house has been included in the the transformation of a former industrial site into a residential area with 6 detached or semi-detached villas, all designed by stats architecten.

Located at the top of a hill that overlooks the neighboring villages, the house extension has a geometric shape with two horizontal slabs, which were placed on a base of locally-sourced stone.

During the day, the wood stairs receive natural light that filters down from a skylight above.The strip of lighting also has a seamless design as it’s built into the wall.
